I love summer!!! Don't you? Of course, I could do without the gnats and mosquitoes...they can be ultra aggravating!!! Still, I love the sunshine and the outdoors:o) All I want to do is "play" in the yard. Too bad I can't do cartwheels and backflips...a little TOO bottom heavy for that...hahaha!!! I'd probably break something important;o)Today's card was supposed to go out last Friday, but computer issues put a halt to that. So, here it is today. I was super, duper thrilled to receive this sweet Lily Day at the Beach stamp and had to ink her up right away!!! Isn't she a sweetheart?!? I adore her:o) She reminds me of my niece, Cheyenne, when she was younger. If you like her as much as I do, you can still snatch her up at KL Stampin n' Scrappin for the low price of $5.99...while other popular online stores are selling her for $7.99-$9.99. I don't know about you, but I would much rather get two of the soon-to-be retired stamps for almost the same price as one. I colored Lily with my Prisma markers and added a touch of gloss and sparkle to her and her sand pails. I braided some hemp twine, and the adorable, little shovel charm was gifted to me from Kelly. I love how it adds to the precious stamp:o) THANK YOU, KELLY!!!! A super, simple card to hopefully brighten the day of a dear friend:o)
Don't forget to to keep your eyes peeled for the deets on the upcoming blog hop or to play along in the July challenge at PCP. Oh...the new Basic Grey paper pads~ Lemonade and June Bug~ are on their way too!!! Have a GREAT weekend, and enjoy your summertime!!!!
Hugs!
