Life is Like a Rainbow...

Life is like a rainbow...You need both the sun and the rain to make its colors appear.

I don't know where I heard this quote first, but I love it and think it goes with this card quite well. That is the sentiment I am going to add to the card's interior (on the side that is not showing in the photo below). It is going to be sent to a friend of mine who is going through a rather difficult time. I just want her to know that the sun will soon shine, and that what she is going through now will one day add to the colors of her rainbow. If there is one thing I have learned in life, the sun always finds its way back...we just have to appreciate the thunderstorms and showers for what they are...nourishment for the soul. For I doubt I would value the bright, cloud free days if I never encountered bad weather or did not have some storm clouds to compare it to. KWIM?

Okay, enough of my blabbering...I am getting off my soapbox now...hahaha! I just LOVE LIFE and thank God everyday for all the blessings He has bestowed upon me!!! How lucky I am to be His child:o) Isn't it awesome to know that you are never alone?! I get goosebumps just thinking about it!

Today's card was made for WOJ challenge #33. The challenge this week is a rather simple one...make a card using a charm(s), and of course a lovely WOJ image. I have been wanting to play along for some time now; but lately, extra time has not been a major luxury of mine. I am sure many of you can relate. Fortunately, I already had an image colored up:o) So, all I needed to do was find some papers and a charm. And, the layout was inspired by this week's Mojo Monday sketch. Easy-peasy!! Thanks to all the amazing inspiration out there!!!

I hope my girlfriend will like it. Thank you Barb for sending me this wonderful image!!! I have been babying the lovelies you gifted me:o) I love each and every one of them, moreso because they came from you!! Now, I just need to learn to color them as beautifully as you do! Still awaiting your move next door;o) Staying up all night stamping, laughing, and eating chocolate sounds like Heaven on earth!!!

Well, that about does it for me. I have to make Monday's HM&F card...EEK!!!...talk about last minute! Naughty me still hasn't even started it yet!
